Professional Trainings

Parts & Memory Therapy

Parts and Memory Therapy is rooted in role theory and parts work. Parts and Memory allows clients to explore their subpersonalities that are getting in the way of true healing. Through parts work clients gain a better understanding of themselves while also healing from distressing memories.

EMDR

EMDR allows clients to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress from unpleasant past memories and experiences. Clients will be prepared with stress reduction techniques to ensure the client is ready for trauma processing. The client will engage in trauma processing at their own pace when ready.

DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy has a core of four different skill sets: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance. While I do not run a formal DBT program within my practice, I teach a DBT skills group and my individual clients benefit from relevant skills.

Intuitive Eating

Intuitive Eating is a foundation of food freedom. Rather than being bound by food rules, clients learn body trust. Intuitive Eating at the heart of Eating Disorder recovery means exploring the messages that have gotten in the way of being able to adequately fuel your body.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is at the root of recovery. Being able to slow down and see reality as it is. I am a trained yoga instructor meaning I have additional trainings in mindfulness and body based relaxation techniques.
